I no longer have a Jobs tab. Does this mean my account is inactive? Can I access my funds?

If you log in to the WorkHub to discover you no longer have a Jobs tab, your account was likely reset due to inactivity. We require that our transcribers submit at least one job in a 30-day period to keep their account active. We would, however, love to have you back on board with us!

We have a refresher exam - English Reactivation Exam #1 - available on your Exams tab that is mandatory for returning transcribers. Please complete this and, once passed, your account will be reactivated.*
Before you begin, be sure to study our most recent Style Guide and the Exam Instructions document found on the Check Exam Info page next to the exam.
In the future, if you know you will be unable to complete a job for a period longer than 30 days (for ANY reason, including inability to pick up work), please fill out the Inactivity Notification form, and we will make a note on your account. You will be able to find this form on the right-hand side of the All Network page on Yammer.
What about my Balance? I had money in my account that I never withdrew
As for accessing your previously earned funds, you have two options:
  1. Take the Reactivation Exam as noted above. Once passed, you will regain your Jobs tab and find your balance exactly as you left it, and either withdraw (if the amount is at least $10) or continue working to let the funds accumulate until you are ready to withdraw.
  2. Please email us at training@transcribeme.com if you would like us to manually withdraw for you (even if the amount is under $10). You would receive the funds in your PayPal the next Thursday along with other processed payments for that week.
*If you have previously completed Reactivation Exam #1, you will need to take Reactivation Exam #2 to reactivate your account. If you have never passed the English Entrance Exam - the exam at the top of your Exams page - then please complete that to reactivate your account.
